This status was posted on Charli's Facebook on August 19, 2013:
Here is some info about the album from questions she has answered:
She plans for a March/April 2014 release.
"It won't be too much of a departure from True Romance, but it will be more live. Still pop songs though. Great pop songs. Ones that you can shout too."
She has written 5 songs so far.
There will be a "cool cover"
Non musical inspirations: Films like Blow Up, Slogan and Crush. Robert Palmer's Addicted to Love music video. Red Lipstick. Breaking hearts and JP Gualtier and Chanel clothing.
About collaborations: "Hmmmm I'm not sure... maybe one. Two at MAX. But i kind of want this record to just be about me you know... i feel like i've done so many collaborations in such a short time."

I would prefer it if she didn't have any collaborations on the record honestly. I don't have a problem with them, but I would love it if we only had Charli on the new album.
I'm so excited! I know what I'll be listening to a lot next spring/summer for sure~ (providing she sticks to her current planned release, which may or may not happen)

She's in New York? No wonder I saw those pictures of her and Emmie Litchenberg on Instagram. @emmieshouse

She answered the question I posted! I asked if there would be a visually similar look to the album like the 90s grunge True Romance. She said this one would be a lot more classier, but still her, and we should see soon.

I'm pretty sure she said that she'd be working with Patrik Berger (produced and co-wrote I Love It & Mess) on this album which would explain the trip to Sweden.
Also when she says the new record is more "live" I hope that means they process her vocals less, it just felt like Ariel buried her voice under the instrumentals
